A day of exciting opportunities for children with giant puppet performances and natural history workshops. Be a puppeteer and learn how to manipulate our giant mountain grasshopper and velvet worms, take the opportunity to see the work of local children, make your own sculpture from recycled materials or take part in the treasure hunt. Sculpture Trail Guided Walking Tour
This tour follows the rivulet from the Henry Jones Art Hotel through the city as it pops up in the most unexpected places linking us back to early Hobart. Then take the opportunity to experience the contemporary Mountain Festival Sculpture Trail where the artworks tell their own story. Finishes at the Sculpture Trail with a complimentary glass of champagne.
